Abednego Book Shoppe
We have a store-within-a-store called Books for Cooks that has thousands of all types of cook books. We have one of the largest inventories of new, used and rare Christian books in the Western States. We have a staff with a combined book industry knowledge of 112 years. We have shipped to over 90 countries. No place is too far away for us to locate a special book and ship it to you.
The name Abednego was selected for our store name due to a Bible passage in Daniel 1:17. NKJV As for these four young men, (Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego), God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom. . We at Abednego Book Shoppe and Bank of Books , our sister store, have literature of all genre, both used and new. Our Bank of Books store has been voted #1 Independent Bookstore of Ventura County for the last 7 years. Their website is www.bankofbooks.com.
Recently, one of our customer wrote saying; "What a great bookstore. The best bookstore I've ever been in and I am a book geek." . (Thank you Anthony Hopkins).
Bank of Books will soon house the Erle Stanley Gardner Museum and an Art Gallery in their bottom floor of the bookstore.
